KAV Health Group is an opioid addiction treatment center, Suboxone provider, and mental health clinic that looks holistically at addiction to provide comprehensive solutions. We have offices throughout Southwestern and Central Ohio, and offer convenient telehealth services to reach our patients with personalized care, wherever they may be.
Our team at KAV Health Group is made up of Licensed Suboxone Doctors, a Board-Certified Psychiatrist, Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Counselors, Social Workers, and an experienced recovery support staff who all fully understand that addiction is a complex disease that affects the body and mind in equal measure. As such, successful treatment programs require a multifaceted approach.
We offer comprehensive care for opioid addiction using Suboxone prescriptions, one-on-one and group therapy sessions, and individualized treatment plans to ensure each of our patients gets the dedicated care they need. Our program leads to our patients smoothly entering into sobriety, understanding the root causes of their addiction, and beginning and maintaining a healthy, successful life in recovery.
All of our recovery services, including Suboxone treatment, mental health treatment, one-on-one counseling, and group therapy, are available online through our confidential, HIPAA-compliant platform.

MAT describes the combination of medicine and other clinical solutions to treat addiction and mental health issues. At KAV Health Group, this means treating opioid addiction by using Suboxone — an FDA-approved medication that simultaneously sates opioid cravings and suppresses withdrawal symptoms — with personalized one-on-one and group therapies that identify and address the underlying causes of addiction.
Opioids are substances that act on the nervous system’s opioid receptors to release dopamine, creating feelings of euphoria. However, the term “opioid” often refers specifically to prescribed opioid pain pills. All opioids have a potential for addiction, even prescribed painkillers. We offer judgment-free treatment that helps patients understand their relationship with opioids and begin their journey to lasting sobriety.
Opiates are a subclass of opioids that describe “natural” opioids that have been derived directly from the poppy plant: heroin, morphine, and codeine are just a few. Some of these can be legally prescribed, while others are illegally abused, but all are addictive and dangerous. We help patients replace opiates with regulated Suboxone use, allowing them to bypass a traditional detox and ease into recovery.
Heroin is an extremely powerful opiate. Some people start heroin directly, while others arrive at heroin as a cheaper, more available opioid after their pain pill prescription runs out. Heroin has become more dangerous as more dealers cut it with fentanyl, an even more powerful opioid. That’s why we work quickly to substitute heroin with Suboxone and begin therapy to kick this life-threatening addiction.
More often than not, an addiction — also known as a substance use disorder (SUD) — coincides with at least one other mental health disorder. This is known as a dual diagnosis, or co-occurring disorder. We understand at KAV Health Group that addictions are equal parts physical and mental, and so we provide a variety of counseling and therapy services to help our patients face their mental illnesses and heal holistically.
